What are the six articles of faith in order?

''The Six Articles of Faith in Islam''

The Six Articles of Faith in Islam: Beliefs Anchored in Divine Revelation:

Introduction:

The Six Articles of Faith are the cornerstone of Islamic belief, forming the bedrock upon which the religion stands. These articles shape the Muslim worldview, influencing every aspect of life from daily routines to cosmic understanding.

1. Belief in Allah:

The foremost article of faith is the belief in Allah, the One and Only God. This belief is encapsulated in the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith. Allah is the Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign of the universe, with no partners or equals.

Quranic Proof: "He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection..." (Surah Al-Hashr, 59:23).

2. Belief in Angels:

Muslims believe in the existence of angels, created from light, who serve as Allah's messengers and servants. They are obedient beings, carrying out divine commands without falter.

Quranic Proof: "They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded" (Surah At-Tahrim, 66:6).

3. Belief in the Divine Books:

Islam teaches that Allah revealed scriptures to guide humanity, culminating in the Quran, which confirms and preserves the core messages of previous scriptures.

Quranic Proof: "Indeed, We have sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light..." (Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:44).

4. Belief in the Prophets:

Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets to every nation, guiding them with His wisdom. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the final messenger, bringing the last and complete revelation.

Quranic Proof: "And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger..." (Surah An-Nahl, 16:36).

5. Belief in the Day of Judgment:

The Day of Judgment is when all individuals will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds. It is a day of ultimate justice.

Quranic Proof: "Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure" (Surah At-Takathur, 102:8).

6. Belief in Divine Decree:

The final article of faith is the belief in Qadar, the divine decree. Muslims believe that all events, good or bad, occur within the knowledge and will of Allah.

Quranic Proof: "Indeed, all things We created with predestination" (Surah Al-Qamar, 54:49).

Hadith Proofs:

The Hadith of Gabriel is a pivotal narration where the angel Gabriel asks the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to elucidate Islam, Iman (faith), and Ihsan (excellence). The Prophet's response outlines the Six Articles of Faith, providing a clear framework for Islamic belief.

Conclusion:

The Six Articles of Faith are not mere abstract concepts but practical beliefs that influence the moral and ethical compass of a Muslim's life. They provide a sense of purpose, direction, and comfort, knowing that life is part of a divine plan, under the care of an All-Wise Creator.
