How many Pillars of the Islam ?

How many Pillars of the Islam ?

 The Five Pillars of Islam:

The Five Pillars of Islam are the foundation of a Muslim's faith and practice. They are considered the most important acts of worship that are obligatory for all Muslims. Here's a brief description of each:

1.

Shahada (Profession of Faith): The declaration that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger. This testament is the foundation of all other beliefs and practices in Islam

2.

Salat (Prayer): Muslims are required to perform five prayers each day at specific times. These prayers are a direct link between the worshipper and Allah

3.

Zakat (Almsgiving): This is the practice of charitable giving based on accumulated wealth, and is obligatory for all who are able to do so. It is considered a personal responsibility to alleviate economic hardship for others and to strive towards eliminating inequality

4.

Sawm (Fasting during Ramadan): Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, from dawn until sunset. This means abstaining from food, drink, and other physical needs during daylight hours, as a means of purifying the soul and practicing self-discipline.

5.

Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca): This pilgrimage is required at least once in a lifetime for those who are physically and financially able to undertake the journey. The Hajj represents a Muslim's ultimate submission to Allah and stands as a chance to wipe clean past sins

suggestion:

These pillars are not just rituals but are meant to be a guide to everyday life, helping to structure a Muslim's life around a framework of worship and obedience to Allah. They are central to a Muslim's commitment and relationship with Allah, and each one carries its own significance and rewards.
